I have been involved in setting up and supporting the development of charities since 2001. The first charity that I was involved in setting up was during 2002 supporting and developing young people across London through their years of transition.
My current full time role involves working with community centres and charities in Camden supporting the implementation of funding programmes as well as supporting the development of outcomes and performance.
For the last 2 years, I have been involved with Crescent Care, a UK based charity working to alleviate poverty in Bangladesh.
I have been very fortunate with being involved in such work and I have gained much experience and knowledge in this area that may be of benefit to other individuals who may be thinking about starting a charity.

New and small businesses

There are many advantages in working for yourself and very few people tell you about them. Small businesses struggle very hard during their first few years of operation and would do much better if people who have faced these challenges were able to support each other through those tough times.
